Language School - Sprachenatelier Berlin

What makes our Language School special?

Our Language School‘s course offering is undoubtedly the largest in Berlin. With more than 50 foreign languages on offer, Sprachenatelier is one of the best, if not the best place to learn a new language. You can learn languages like Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew or Russian directly from native speakers, but we don‘t just offer exotic languages. Popular languages like German, English, Spanish, French and many others can also be learnt with us.

The Building

The building in which you find our language school is a protected monument. The building combines living and commercial space in a style and manner that was typical of the popular shopping street Frankfurter Allee at the start of the 20th Century. The five storied red rendered building was the home of master mason Oscar Garbe, who drew the plans himself and who lived on the second floor with his family. The rooms are decorated in an Art Noveau style with beautiful woodwork in the staircase and Salon.

Our Culture Programme

At our School there aren't just language courses, but also art and culture. We organise and support an array of cultural events not only for our students, but also for the general public- presentations, readings, film festivals etc. For our German as a Foreign Language students, we prepare a weekly Culture Program during the Summer Program (June- August), where there are daily activities planned. The role of our Culture Program is to give our students the opportunity to both experience culture and everyday life in Berlin. Our large course offering and diverse art and culture program make our language school the perfect place for everyone that wants to learn language, art and culture!
