Whether you are at beginner or advanced level, the large variety of different German courses on offer at our language school means that you can be sure to find a course suited to your requirements. You can choose from intensive morning, and afternoon programmes as well as evening courses which take place twice a week. Other courses on offer which are more specialised to individual needs include German for business, German for medicine and German for travel. It is also possible to arrange private one-on-one lessons.
Right from the beginning, learn German with us using our communication-focused, proven method, so to help make success come quicker (and with it, the motivation to learn more).
Our courses are ideal for all sorts of students and groups. German for adult students in a mixed class are the most common, but we can also cater for school groups, young people and groups of speakers of a specific language looking to convert to German (ie. German for Dutch/English/Danish speakers).
The classrooms at Sprachenatelier Berlin are bright and spacious, with an average class size of around 10 students and a maximum of 14 participants.
We will be able to ensure you are in the right German course for your level thanks to our free German placement test and a short chat with one of our staff members.
Our lessons aims to encourage student participation by following an immersion style of learning wherein German is the teaching language. This teaching method helps to quickly integrate our students into life in Germany and to feel at ease with the German language. Our qualified and dedicated teaching staff aim to support learning by working to strengthen conversational skills, grammar, and pronunciation.
Here at Sprachenatelier, we understand that life is not always straight forward and we pride ourselves on the flexibility of our courses. We make it possible for students to change, or take a break from the course they are taking. Whether you wish to switch to afternoon classes instead of morning classes, or simply wish to take a break for a couple of weeks in the middle of your course, we will work to accommodate your needs.
Sprachenatelier is nestled right in the heart of the capital city‘s Berlin-Friedrichshain district and our language school is easily accessible by public transport.
All of our courses align with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and students can sit licensed telc examinations here. Intensive exam preparation courses for the following exams are also offered at our facilities: Start Deutsch A1 and A2; Zertifikat Deutsch B1, B2, C2, Zertifikat C1 – Hochschule; DSH; Test DaF; Zertifikat C2- Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom as well as other career-specific examinations.
Every Wednesday, Sprachenatelier students are invited to participate in the cultural excursions organised by the school‘s Culture Team in various locations in and around Berlin, and sometimes Germany more widely. Excursions can include anything from museum visits, to walking tours, to film screenings and give students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of Germany and German culture as well as the perfect setting to get to know the other students and practice their newly-learnt language skills.
We explore some of Germany‘s other famous and cultural cities such as Potsdam, Leipzig and Dresden in our fantastic summer programme.
In addition to the excursions, Sprachenatelier also hosts regular cultural events within the school. Students are invited to come along to the festivals, readings, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars held in our studio.
