Language levels

Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

The language levels at Sprachenatelier Berlin follow the German Reference Frame. The beginner levels are made up of 3 course modules (A1, A2, B1) followed by levels B2 and C1 (intermediate levels 1 and 2) as well as C2 (advanced level).

Every intensive course at Sprachenatelier Berlin are made up of approximately 160 lesson hours per language level.

Examinations

After completing a language level, you can take an examination (after prior registration) to receive an official European certification of languages (telc Certificate).

Language level Language skills

A1

You can understand and use very simple sentences.

A2

you can understand every-day situations in the foreign language.

B1

You can converse about a large variety of topics in simple language.

B2

You can understand complex texts and hold a normal conversation in a foreign language.

C1

You can understand difficult texts and converse spontaneously and fluently.

C2

You speak (almost) as good as a native speaker.
