Naturpark Südgelände Sprachenatelier Kultur
Wednesday, 3. August 2022, 12:30 - 14:30, Berlin

Naturpark Südgelände

Originally opened as part of the Expo 2000 world exhibition, the park on the site of the former Tempelhof marshalling yard fascinates visitors with its unique combination of old railway technology, wild nature worthy of protection, and art. Located directly at the Priesterweg S-Bahn station, the 18-hectare green space stretches almost as far as Südkreuz. Railway history is all around: in addition to tracks, points and rail tracks, water cranes, light poles, a steam locomotive and one of Germany's oldest turntables are still present in the park. If you want to discover this unusual place, come with us and spend a beautiful summer afternoon surrounded by nature and fresh air.

MEETING POINT: 12:30 p.m. in front of the Sprachenatelier
