The museum explores the earth and life in dialogue with humans. As an excellent research museum and innovative communication centre, it participates in the scientific and social dialogue about the future of our planet - all over the world. This mission and vision, strategy and structure, form the basis for the scientific work as an integrated and increasingly open research museum with research partners in Berlin, Germany and around 60 other countries.
