To live in a country, without speaking the native language. That’s the experience the title of this exhibition - “Traveling without a ticket” - describes. Located in the gallery at Körnerpark in Neukölln, this exhibition examines the lived realities that accompany the experience of people abroad, without knowledge of the native tongue. Language connects and transforms culture. It is versatile and in an ongoing process of transformation. In this exhibition, the contributing artists examine the interplay between culture and language through different methods. The gallery offers us a tour. This brings you the possibility to participate actively, contribute your own experiences and ask questions.
