Markthalle 9 – Berlin Coffee Festival

The first of October marks the International Coffee Day. This day will be celebrated during the Berlin Coffee Festival for a whole week. One of the many activities, is to listen to talks about, of course, coffee. In these talks, the problems of coffee farmers are also illuminated; the market price of coffee has dropped so much in recent years that many coffee farmers can no longer live on farming coffee beans.
Of course, there are also countless kinds of coffee to taste at the festival: various methods of roasting and brewing. Maybe you'll discover your favourite kind of coffee during the Berlin Coffee Festival!
