16.11. FEUERZANGENBOWLE - WINTERFILMFEST IM NIKOLAIVIERTEL

The winter season is drawing ever closer. The colder it gets, the more mulled wine should be consumed. End of discussion. This ‘Culture Wednesday’ we are visiting a winter film festival in Nikolaiviertel! This festival offers ‘Feuerzangenbowle’ (Fire tongs punch) – both the so-named film and the drink. You can see the film here for free, relaxing on a comfy sofa or an armchair. Cutesy little market huts serve the warm drink out of huge copper pots, and you can also buy Jagertee, hot chocolate and kiddies’ punch. The film is about four old men who meet for a festive drink and reminisce, telling stories from their childhood. A classic – which will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas - this is not one you want to miss out on!
