Language Exam Certificate CNaVT and Nt2 - Exam

Study in the Netherlands - Sprachenatelier Berlin is an official test center for CNaVT

If you want to study or work in the Netherlands or just need general proof of your Dutch language proficiency, you can take one of the following exams: CNaVT or Nt2. 

CNaVT Exam

The CNaVT Certificate (Certificate of Dutch as a Foreign Language) is a globally recognized certificate that was developed by academic staff at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The certificate allows you to prove your language proficiency in Dutch, whether you need it for your studies, working or a longer stay in the Netherlands or Belgium.

The Sprachenatelier Berlin is an official test center for CNaVT. The registration deadline for the exam in May is at the beginning of March every year.

Nt2 Programma II-Exam

The Nt2-Exam (Dutch as a second language - Nederlands als tweede taal) can only be taken at certain test locations in the Netherlands. The exam takes place almost every week throughout the whole year. You register for this exam through the Education Executive Agency (DUO). You should register for your desired test date at least six weeks in advance

The Nt2-Exam can be taken at two levels: Nt2 Programma I or Nt2 Programma II. Programma I corresponds to language proficiency B1, while Programma II corresponds to language level B2/C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
