Deutsche Kinemathek

Cinema has the power to bring history to life for its present-day audience. We have the opportunity to embark on a visual journey through film and television history this Wednesday at the Deutsche Kinemathek, a museum about the history and science behind both modern and historical filmmaking. Its permanent exhibition focuses on a wide range of different cinematic eras, from films made during the Weimar Republic to propaganda created under the Nazi regime, from cinematic icons such as Marlene Dietrich to exiled German film professionals in Hollywood, and finally from the postwar years and the cinematic differences between the films produced in the East and in the West to contemporary German cinema. We hope you will join us!

Meeting place and time: 1.30pm, Sprachenatelier Berlin.

Where: Potsdamer Straße 2, 10785 Berlin
