Culture Wednesday: Galerie im Körnerpark

This year marks the 35th edition of the Up Close – Goldrausch exhibition, featuring 15 women visual artists who have prepared an art experience full of paintings, photographs, and multimedia installations. The Goldrausch project also aims to inform us about the situation women are facing in the art industry. Since its inception in 1989, this project has gradually built itself up to support women, becoming a safe space for the exchange of professional ideas for more than 500 women artists under its wings. From this exhibition, we can expect to see the connection between art and its motifs, exploring topics like politics and society. Besides, since the exhibition is held in Galerie im Körnerpark, you'll discover a very cool corner of Neukölln and might even be surprised by what a hidden gem it is.
