Indie Pop Concert with Sankvit at Sprachenatelier
Indie Pop from Ukraine with singer-songwriter Oleksandr Semeniuk (Sankvit)
The Kiev-born singer and songwriter Oleksandr Semeniuk is touring throughout Europe with his solo music project “Sankvit” and will perform his compositions from the new album “Dzerkalo” in Berlin as well, here in our salon.
For ten years, the musician has been writing songs, singing, playing the guitar, piano and drums, organizing and performing concerts and also teaching children to play the guitar. In recent years he has had three music projects and several performances in Kiev and Berlin.
With his tour he wants to support Ukrainian refugees by empowering people with good energy and positive songs and giving them a feeling of home. He also wants to share the culture of Ukrainian indie pop in Europe.
The money donated at his concerts goes to the charity foundation “Voices of Children”, which provides psychological assistance to children who suffered from the war.
Spring is the time for acoustic indie pop, so if you're up for it, you're all invited.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
