Culture Wednesday - Soundshapes: In Between Frequencies

The innovative, seamless mix of architecture and sound presents itself in the form of sound installations. This phenomenon emerges here in Berlin in a new exhibition from artists Kapwani Kiwanga and Janine Jembere, whose eclectic work touches on concepts of sensuality and body as well as representation and gender. Visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in their world through their artistic lens. Their sound installation is described as a sonic embrace, a shower of words in different languages which target the idea of translatability.
