For this week's Culture Wednesday, we are going to the World Press Photo Award exhibition. Every year, the World Press Photo Award honours the best photojournalists and documentary photographers. This year, 3,752 photographers from 127 countries submitted 60,448 photos. First, photographs were selected by regional juries, and then a global jury chose the four winners. The Freundeskreis Willy-Brandt-Haus has been presenting the World Press Photo exhibition for 20 years now, and to mark this anniversary, the exhibition will also include a look back at some of the best press photos of the last two decades.
