Learn German and experience Berlin!

Berlin's history has been marked by many crises, wars and upheavals. Of course, the end of the Second World War and the subsequent occupation by the victorious Allied powers represents a particularly drastic caesura. What for us nowadays seems to be far in the past, influenced Berlin for almost 50 years, from 1945 to 1994. The Allied victors not only shaped political and military events in Germany, but also the everyday lives of its citizens. This is precisely the theme of the Allied Museum. Two permanent exhibitions, as well as ever-changing and politically topical special exhibitions, take visitors on a journey back in time, from the so-called sultana bombers to the withdrawal of the Western powers, providing a detailed and exciting insight into Berlin and its politics of the time. Interested? Then feel free to join!
