Accommodation Help for our Students
Living in Berlin
Sprachenatelier offers registered participants of the German courses help in finding accommodation, e.g. in a shared apartment or in a hotel or hostel very close to the school.
ATTENTION: Sprachenatelier can only offer help with finding accommodation for students who are 18 or older!
Prices for a room in shared accommodation in Berlin vary between approx. 350 € and 750 € per month, whereby the price depends on the size and furnishings of the room. We try to find accomodation that meets the needs of our participants, but we would like to point out that success is more likely if you register early.
There is also the option of staying with a host family.
The cheapest option for short term stays are the so-called backpacker hostels, some of which offer overnight stays from 15 € per night.

Staying with a host family is a good option for students who come to Germany for a language course or for an exchange year. Living with a host family offers several advantages: You usually get your own cozy room, a nice family who takes care of you and brings you closer to the country and its people. The fridge is always full which helps to mitigate any homesickness that may arise.
