Barcomis & Otto Weidt Museum

Join us for Kaffee&Kuchen and a trip to Otto Weidt Museum. Barcomi‘s is the perfect spot to chill out with your classmates and treat yourself to some amazing cake, and the small Otto Weidt museum nearby makes for an interesting trip. Otto Weidt was a small time manufacturer who primarily employed blind and deaf Jewish people during the second world war to prevent them, as far as possible, from being persecuted. The musuem is in the original workshop – you can even see the room where Jewish workers were hidden when raids took place. The exhibition contains letters and documents to and from Weidt and describes the fate of his workers.
